Baileys Irish cream liqueur has launched a brand new media campaign which sees the brand carry a completely new strapline, “Cream With Spirit.”
The new campaign made its debut this Sunday and is targeted at female drinkers, using a poster campaign featuring elegant and inspirational women with messages such as “Be a woman for cause, not for applause” and “Be a girl with a mind, a woman with attitude and a lady with class.”
This campaign will be supported by a 90 second advertisement which is somewhat different from that message and contains a troupe of dancing women, dressed in cream-coloured flowing outfits to represent the creamy fluidity of Baileys Irish Liqueur, which is then graphic matched into an actual stream of Baileys being poured into a glass.
Speaking about the ‘Cream With Spirit‘ campaign, Garbhan O’Bric, Global Brand Director at Baileys, said: “With this brand re-launch Baileys faces an exciting future as we re-capture the true essence of the brand.
“We’ve always been at our best and truest to ourselves when we’ve celebrated the brilliance and magnificence of women and with this new campaign we are reaffirming that timeless truth, but are doing it with a modern twist.”
The new advert has debuted in the UK but will now be rolled out globally to support the Baileys brand worldwide.
