January presents the first opportunity for breweries across the land to bring out their very first seasonal offering – kicking off the taste buds of customers looking for something new and delicious to try. For Bath Ales, their first of the year is Golden Hare.
Golden Hare is a light-coloured 4.4% ABV beer, brewed using Maris Otter barley and Goldings hops, which give it a light flavour that is perfect for spring. And seeing as this beer will be available from now until April, it is the perfect way to get you prepared for the end of the cold weather and ready for the blossom of spring.
Said to be brimming with condition, Golden Hare is noted to have a smooth yet dry, fresh and delightfully zesty taste.
Commenting on the beer, Bath Ales Head Brewer, Gerry Condell, said: “We have been producing Golden Hare in a bottle for a while by popular demand. Making it available in cask makes absolute sense – it’s simply packed with flavour and perfect for spring.”
Mark Harding, Sales Director for Bath Ales, added: “We have a number of seasonal beers which have a very strong following. Thanks to Golden Hare’s unique character this top brew continues to deliver strong sales and we are producing 50% more to cope with increased demand.”
