Budweiser is set to create a two-minute long advert that will run before the FA Cup final and is asking fans to contribute images to be a part of the campaign.
The 120 second advert, which is far longer than any Budweiser advert outside of the US, is calling on all football fans over the 18 to share photos of their favourite FA Cup moments from this year captured on camera.
Fans who want to take part simply have to submit their images via the Budweiser UK Facebook page or via the @BudweiserUK Twitter account, remembering to use the hashtag #tothedream.
In addition to being subject to selection for use on the special collaborative advert, images will be shared via teh ESPN.co.uk website and talksport.co.uk.
Speaking about the initiative to get fans on board with Budweiser’s showpiece advert, Iain Newell, UK marketing director at AB InBev UK, parent company of Budweiser, said: “We are really excited to be breaking new ground by dedicating this ad slot to a celebration of fans’ experience of The FA Cup. We are hoping it will be a wonderful snapshot of different experiences of the beautiful game, and will capture some of the great moments shared throughout this season’s competition.”
The complete Budweiser FA Cup final advert will also be shown on big screens within Wembley on the date of the final, which is due to kick off on Saturday the 11th May 2013.
