Following the success of Crabbie’s alocholic ginger beer in the UK, its distributors have now lined up a plan to take the brand to the US this year.
Initially launching in ten different regions, including New York, California and Texas, Crabbie’s alcoholic ginger beer will enjoy a full roll out across the US should the initial run be succesful.
Launched in 2009, Crabbie’s has been an instant success, giving it a strong foundation for a market that continually looks for an alternative to lager, which is light, sweet and easier to drink.
Allan Dickson, Sales and Marketing Director for Halewood International said; “The ginger phenomenon experienced in the UK following the launch of Crabbie’s has successfully driven the creation of a ginger category in its own right, something which Halewood International is aiming to replicate worldwide. Our global portfolio now includes USA, Canada and Australia with further international expansions in the pipeline.”
Following its US debut, Crabbie’s alcoholic ginger beer will be rolled out further in North America with Canada coming next.
Crabbie’s will be available in 500ml bottles in Canada and 330ml and 500ml bottles across the US.
