Manchester United legend, Eric Cantona, will be the face of Kronenbourg lager’s new television advert, ‘A Tale Supreme.’
Cantona, not adversed to acting, has already a number of credits to his name, the most famous being (to English speaking audiences, anyway) 2009′s Looking for Eric, directed by Ken Loach, where he played a fictional version of himself.
With comedy at the core of the advert, Cantona finds himself in an unusual place where the hop growers for Kronenbourg beer are all championed as celebrities and attract supermodel wives.
When asked by an attractive woman if he is a farmer, Cantona plays along with it and tells her “of course” – the perfect climax to the narrative.
‘A Taste Supreme’ will be released on the 4th February.
