The Fosters duo of Brad and Dan are back, but this time they step outside the familiar territory of their beach hut to launch a new type of advert celebrating the brands heritage.
In the latest advert, The Ripper, the pair of likely lads are seen in more of a Wild West type of setting, reenacting the mission to take Australia its first ice cold beer (back in 1888).
Obviously, the beer is met with a thumbs up, leaving us with the message that the Fosters lager, a brand which is often mocked and scalded (and avoided by Aussies residing in the UK), actually does have some heritage behind the label and is possibly more refined that years of British lager louts would have you believe.
Done in typical Fosters good humour, the message is a slight step sideways from what we would usually expect from the Fosters lager brand but will likely get it noticed, slipping that message of history and refinement subliminally so that the next time we’re at a bar looking for something different we may just go for the old classic.
