Black Cab Stout, one of Fuller’s latest ventures, has been made available in bottles for the first time and will hit supermarkets in March.
Black Cab Stout was originally made available in pubs in November last year and thanks to terrific response from drinkers Fuller’s decided to make the drink more widely available.
The bottled version of Black Cab Stout is 4.5% ABV and boasts red berry notes, toasty aromas and has a dry and bitter finish.
Fuller’s head brewer, John Keeling, said: “Black Cab is the first stout I’ve brewed at Fuller’s for a long time, and I was very pleased with the reaction we got when it went into pubs late last year.
“By putting it into bottles, we’re giving lots more people the chance to try this terrific ale. The matt black label is very striking and looks great on shelf so I’m hoping customers won’t spend too long navigating the beer aisle before picking up a bottle.”
Like many Fuller’s products, Black Cab Stout features typical British imagery, using the iconic London black taxi as the focus point for the brand.
