At Grolsch, they do things differently. Whilst many brands are chasing the most mainstream platforms to promote themselves, Grolsch is supporting independent film through its Film Works initiative.
The first, of what could be a series of films, is a collection of three 30-minute shorts brought together by a trio of the biggest names in today’s independent film-making – Harmony Korine, Alexsei Fedorchenko and Jan Kwiecinski.
Known as The Fourth Dimension, the collaborative piece has already been aired at the San Francisco International Film Festival.
Thomas Kamphuis, a spokesperson for the Grolsch Film Works project, said: “We are proud to have worked with three such diverse talents on the creation of the first feature film from Grolsch Film Works.
“It was a huge international undertaking and a narrative challenge to tie these three, idiosyncratic films together.
“‘The Fourth Dimension’ is a fascinating creative work we are delighted to show the world. We are thrilled to do that for the first time at the San Francisco International Film Festival.”
