Magners cider has announced its partnership with Glasgow Celtic football club. The three year deal will run from the 2013/2014 season and will see Magners cider become the official sponsor of one of Scotland’s biggest football clubs.
A huge sponsor of sports events, Magners cider already sponsors a range of events including rugby and football, in addition to other major attractions such as music and comedy performances.

Following the controversial relegation of arch rivals Glasgow Rangers, Celtic are now arguably the biggest team in Scottish football, regularly attracting home crowds in excess of 50,000 people and a strong entity in European football competition.
This deal with strengthen Magners European exposure as the brand already sponsors the Magners League, an elite European league of Rugby Union teams.
