Clearly the up-and-coming summer season has got brewery executive’s mind’s racing as yet another iced tea is due to hit shelves – Michelob’s Ultra 19th Hole Light Tea & Lemonade.
Michelob Ultra 19th Hole Light Tea & Lemonade is a 4% ABV iced lemon tea infused with Michelob’s light lager beer that has been inspired by golf.
The concept was to commission a drink that falls in with the Michelob ethos of appealing to drinkers with an active lifestyle and as golfers often like to relax at the club house with either an iced tea or refreshing lager it made sense to combine the two.
Ryan Moore, Vice President, Premium Lights, said: “Over the years, blended tea and lemonade drinks have grown from a golf course speciality to a summertime staple, and Ultra 19th Hole takes the popular concept to the next level.
“We’ve seen a growing demand for lighter, sweeter beverages, and we believe Ultra 19th Hole offers the right combination of refreshment and flavour. And just like the classic, it’s also great over ice.”
Michelob Ultra 19th Hole Light Tea & Lemonade will be available from April onwards in a select number of bars, restaurants and golf courses.
