Earlier in the month we were discussing Rekorderlig cider’s brand new Passionfruit flavour, now the premium Swedish cider brand is growing its global presence by evolving their 2012 Beautifully Swedish campaign into the worldwide Beautifully Swedish Collective, giving fans a further taste of its trend-setting homeland.
The 2012 Beautifully Swedish campaign, developed by creative agency Apartment A with PR support from DawBell, saw the innovative cider brand launch an online flavour shop; a series of tongue-in-cheek ‘how to be Swedish’ films; a Swedish street food tour, a pop-up Winter Forest Bar in east London; and the UK’s first university Swedish House Makeover.
For 2013, four Swedish rising stars have been carefully selected by Rekorderlig and Apartment A to form their Collective, representing inspiring aspects of the Beautifully Swedish lifestyle.
Caroline Blomst is a fashion and style expert. Renowned for her unique and effortless style, this model, photographer, stylist and fashion editor is the powerhouse behind trend-setting Stockholm-based blog, Caroline’s Mode.
Chris Sörman is the skilled thrill seeker. Notorious on the professional snowboarding scene for his smooth and distinctive style, he travels the world to master urban tricks and powder mountains.
Erika Lindberg is all about action and adventure. Chasing the sun and mastering the waves, this professional young athlete is ranked 11th in the world for kitesurfing, but is just as at ease when sailing, alpine skiing, windsurfing and surfing.
Agnes Thor is the artist. While currently living and working in New York, her Swedish heritage is always evident through her stunning photography, which effortlessly transports viewers to a dream-like Scandinavia.
To showcase the Beautifully Swedish Collective and their ever-growing innovative flavour range, Rekorderlig Cider will be rolling out their very first worldwide ATL campaign alongside a number of unique brand experiences, confirming its enviable position as a cider for all seasons.
The first activation, featuring Collective member Agnes Thor, will celebrate the arrival British Summertime on 31st March in two phases.
Phase one will see Rekorderlig Cider collaborate with ItsNiceThat.com and Notion magazine to provide the creative community with the chance to have their photography featured on outdoor billboards across the UK.
Entrants will be asked to submit a photograph that represents the beginning of British Summertime; a photograph to #CelebrateTheSun. The submissions will be judged by a panel of experts, including the Collective’s Agnes Thor.
Phase two will take place throughout April when the Rekorderlig social community will be invited to #CelebrateTheSun and capture their Beautifully Swedish-inspired seasonal images for the chance to win a selection of top prizes.
Sharing her passion and Swedish viewpoint, Agnes will offer photography tips before re-joining the panel of experts as a judge during the second phase of the competition.
Submissions will be accepted via email, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.
