Following its success at London Cocktail Week, Buffalo Trace Bourbon is taking its exciting pop-up bar to Brighton, appearing at the the Wick Inn in Hove, from the 25th January to the 9th February.
Sticking with its prohibition-themed style, the venue served more than 7,000 drinks in October 2012 and will continue to delight in Brighton with its old-fashioned stylings and fantastic bourbon cocktails.
Offering a collection of classic American cocktails such as the Sazerac and Buffalo Mojito, the Buffalo Trace Bourbon pop-up bar will also be selling classics such as the Boilermaker, a premium US beer served with a Bourbon chaser, and the Pickleback, a shot of Buffalo Trace washed down with pickle juice.
To make the most of the occasion, the ambience will reflect the prohibition theme, with waiters dressed in spats and braces and a series of prohibition-period bar games on offer, including Craps, Toss the Boss and roulette, as well as take part in a Prohibition quiz night.
In addition to offering customers a great experience and a large collection of great drinks they might not have tried before, the Buffalo Pop-up bar will also be running tasting sessions and masterclasses, profiling a range of great flavours including Buffalo Trace Bourbon, Benchmark Bourbon, Sazerac Rye Whiskey, the five-strong limited edition Buffalo Trace Antique Collection, and Buffalo Trace White Dog, the clear, unaged spirit.
Speaking about the event, Sue Hill, director, Hi-Spirits said: “We’re delighted to be bringing the Buffalo Bourbon Empire to Brighton & Hove to build on our successful debut in London last year. The pop-up concept is a great way to spotlight Buffalo Trace’s award-winning whiskeys and versatile serves to bar professionals as well as consumers.”
