Mountain Dew has created a new kind of energy drink called Kickstart, which is aimed at consumers who need a boost to get them through the morning.
Kickstart, a juice based energy drink, aims to bridge the gap between juice and coffee to give consumers an alternative on a morning that provides the best of both worlds.
Available in two flavours, Orange Citrus and Fruit Punch, Kickstart’s 16oz can are just 80 calories and each serving contains five per cent real fruit juice.
Speaking about Mountain Dew’s Kickstart energy drink, Vice President, Marketing, Mountain Dew, said: “Our consumers told us they are looking for an alternative to traditional morning beverages – one that tastes great, includes real fruit juice and has just the right amount of kick to help them start their days.
“We heard them loud and clear and created a completely new offering with Kickstart to give them exactly what they asked for.”
Mountain Dew’s Kickstart will be available in the US from the 25th February onwards. Consumers can grab sample cans before this date by visiting a newly created microsite www.kickstartfirsttaste.com, where fans can show their appreciation of the drink in photo form.
